How to Hit out of a Bunker

1. Dig your feet into the sand to give a firm foundation.
2. Clubface should be open.
3. Accelerate your swing as you go through the sand.
4. Aim to a spot about 2 to 3 inches behind the ball.
Pretend the ball is sitting a top a dollar bill.
Aim for the edge of the dollar.
Let the club do the work.
5. Have confidence.

Spring Luncheon

We held our Spring Luncheon and meeting last Saturday at the clubhouse.
We had great weather and an even better turn out.
Lunch was Roly-Poly, Yvonne's baked beans and coleslaw, Stacey's mac salad and Jodie's Grandma's Cake.
Nine of us golfed afterwards.
Unfortunately, the weather did not permit us to practice this week, but don't forget this Wednesday (April 29) is the first "official" day of league. It was decided at the meeting that the AM girls will start at 9am.
